Recent Events Update, With Summer Plans

Hello all. My apologies for not posting as much over the last few months. It's been a busy, chaotic time. So let's review.

February to May, photographing anywhere from one to four events a day, or more. Every day. Highlights include the recent Blumey Awards, and a number of events that have thankfully returned after a three-year hiatus. I've missed you all. And a whole lot of concerts. I've missed you all, too.

My Avett Brothers photo exhibit, A Symphony For The Road, featuring my photos of the band from the last 24 years, is now at the Earl Scruggs Center until September. I am also available for tours of the exhibit, so please contact me, or the Scruggs Center.

The Left Banke CD Strangers On A Train, which I co-produced, is now available from Omnivore Recordings. Stay tuned this summer as we prepare the Cyrkle's first new studio album since 1967 for release, as well as new music by Todd Johnson, and Falllift.

I've been doing lots of interviews and chats with Plastic EP, including interviews with Ethan Russell, Don Dannemann, and many more. And still there'll be more. Check back here, or with Plastic's channel on Youtube, and Facebook.

I have eleven photos in the upcoming reissue of Wilco's Yankee Hotel Foxtrot, out in September. And check out Bob Lind's new album, which features two of my photos.

And of course, get ready for Fabfest, coming to Charlotte, NC on July 22 and 23rd. I'll be interviewing Micky Dolenz to open his headlining set, and interviewing the Cyrkle, among leading many other panels. Go to fabfestcharlotte.org for more info.

And thank you to everyone that was a part of, or attended this month's tributes to Chris Garges in Charlotte, and Winston-Salem.

I'll be on the road much of the summer. I hope to see you there. See you soon.
