For those of you that follow those posts (and thank you for doing so) and like my posts to be full of insane scheduling, or lack thereof, this one's for you.
Earlier this week, worked on photos in my archives for one box set, one book, and a possible showing this full at a museum in downtown Charlotte. Confirmed that I'll have four of my photos of Arthur Taylor Lee and Love in a book that will be coming out in June. Wednesday and Thursday, photos of Kiefer Sutherland, Kim Richey, and one last look at the first official new issue of Tangents Magazine since 1998. It's now at the printer, so get ready to shake, bake and quake when it hits the stands. Friday, photos at Carolina Business Review, and then drove to Knoxville, TN for the Knoxville Stomp Festival, with posed and live photos with Dom Flemons, and many others. Very nice to see the Bear Family Records folks again, who used my photos over four pages in their retrospective box set last year. Drove back home through the night, and photographed the Dress For Success Stilleto Swagger with Kerry O'Connor at 8:30am on Saturday morning. Followed by photos (and record shopping) at the Metrolina Expo, and Derby Days at the Mint Museum Randolph.
Congrats to Ashley Proctor on graduating from Winthrop. Wishes for a speedy recovery to the legendary Larry Sprinkle. Somebody in Knoxville please get me Peter Stampfel's autograph tomorrow. It's a busy week ahead. Love to all, and see you on the road.
