Show promotion! I have a lot of shows that I've booked, or helped to book in the coming weeks. And what better time than the holidays to put together some bad-ass shows. Spread the word, and let's review-

December 15th- Double Door Anniersary and Reunion show. Neighborhood Theatre. Lenny Federal Band, Monday Night Allstars, and Crisis. 6pm doors, 7pm Rock. Tickets available now online, or at the door.

December 28th- Winston-Salem! Phil Lee and the Mannish Boys are teaming up for the holidays to rock your town. Heyday Guitars will attempt to contain all of this awesomeness. 7pm doors, 7:30pm Rock. 

December 31st- Charlotte! You wanted the best New Year's Eve show? Tipsy Burro is giving you the best! Phil Lee and the Mannish Boys! Together! More iinfo soon. 2020 needs to party, so let's party.

January 3rd, 2020. The roaring Twenties are back! Maya Beth Atkins and Gigi Dover are teaming up for a night that'll show the rest of the decade how Rock gets done. More info soon. 

February, 2020. It's Snakes! Houston Brothers! Smokey Joe's! Yeah! More info coming, because you need to prepare for this.

Bringing The 1960s Back To Charlotte In 2018

Some of you have been asking when I will be getting back to booking shows like the 60s Rock & Roll Reunions. After the successful Double Door Inn anniversary show, I’ve decided to give them another round. Charlotte’s own Mannish Boys will lead the local charge back to the garage, with shows at Smokey Joe’s on February 16th, April 27th and July 6th. Jake Berger, Rob Thorne, Greg James and JC Matlak will bring all of your fave garage rock, psych and R&B. And Charlotte’s own Sidewalk Bob and Mitchell Kearney will be opening the Feb. 16th show. Show begins at 10pm, and tickets are five dollars. 

But wait, there’s more! The Mannish Boys will be playing the Evening Muse on Sunday, March 18th for a special live recording event. Showtime is 7pm for this show. Get there early, get loud and make some noise, and you’ll hear yourself (and the band) on record, some (hopefully soon) groovy day. And yes, a certain photographer/show promoter/tambourine player will also be lurking about. Come by, say hello, and ask me if I’ve made any more progress on my next books.
